Dr. Firanda Andirja Lc, MA

Commissioner (2013-2021), Advisor to the Board


Mr. Firanda is a frequent speaker since April 2013 until 2018 at Gate 19 of Prophet's Mosque (Nabawi) in Madinah - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) after evening Maghrib prayers and morning Fajr prayers during Hajj season. (*additional - tentative, after Asr prayers during Ramadhan).

He has been entrusted by the KSA to speak primarily to pilgrims from Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam who are fluent in the Indonesian and Malay Languages. In late 2018 the regulation has changed, only for those who are living in Madinah and are currently students of the Islamic University of Madinah.

He began his formal education in Indonesia. After a year of scholarship at University Gajah Mada majoring in Chemical Engineering, he went to the Islamic University of Madinah for his Bachelor and Masters Degree under a scholarship provided by the Saudi Government.

On September 2016, he has successfully acquired his Doctorate Degree by graduating with Summa Cum Laude in the Faculties of Hadits and Aqidah from the Islamic University of Madinah and again under a scholarship provided by the Saudi Government.

Novita Lubis B.Comm, MBA

She graduated from University of Western Sydney and IPMI Business School. She has been awarded with Advanced Diploma Market Research from the Australian Market Research Society.

Currently serving as President Director and Partner of Fountain Education Center and head of STMIK Bidakara. Previously she was a General Manager at PT. Mekar Prana Indah, Bidakara. She was also a Marketing Director at International Education Program, LP3i and a Manager at John & Co.

Her expertise has been valuable in operating PT. Kandarra Indonesia.

Prince Prashant

Non-executive Director, Advisor to the Board


Mr. Prashant is an entrepreneur who attended formal education in Jakarta and Kolej Tuanku Ja'afar, Malaysia. Upon returning to Indonesia, he embarked on a few business ventures.

He now serves as Commisioner in PT. Cipta Daya Makmur, involved primarily in Building Contractorship and General Trade.

Through His background in business and being of foreign descent, his experience of dealing with people from different cultures around the world is invaluable to PT. Kandarra Indonesia.

Iskandar Bahar

Executive Director


He attended University at the University of Tasmania, Australia before returning to Indonesia to head PT. Berjaya Bintang Samudera and PT. Merdeka Sejahtera Bahari.

In 1992, He founded PT. Merdeka Sejahtera Bahari, to facilitate the demand for skilled labor of many South Korean Fisheries, Cargo Reefer and General Cargo Ships.

In 2003 he joined the Board of Commissioner of PT. Berjaya Bintang Samudera, founded by his Father in 1989 to facilitate the demand of skilled labors to Japanese fishing vessels around the world.


His involvement in these two companies have been indispensable.

In 2013 he opened PT. Kandarra Indonesia as his most recent endeavour to challenge the market of Offshore fleet industry.
